I had money removed from PayPal by FreedomPop long after I tried to eliminate charges on my account. It is nearly impossible to get a live person on the phone to help, and when you do they are extremely limited in their ability to do anything useful.

Despite being charged almost $30/month for 9 months after not using the device at all, the representative only refunded 1 month. Bad customer service and not worth the headaches. Only buy if you plan to use forever and like extra charges. I had the Overdrive and I stopped using it because the service was never very good to begin with.

Much slower than most other wifi available. I regret ever dealing with this company and although their deals may seem enticing, keep in mind that if it seems too good to be true it probably is. If you have any problem at all be prepared to deal with it through automated systems.

Very hard to speak to someone at Freedompop (except when purchasing! they make that very easy)

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Freedompop Pros: Perceived value.

Freedompop Cons: Overcharges and the difficulty in speaking to a human being.

Yes they do. Same happen to me.

Plus, the shipping & handling is way more than what they spend to ship the items to customers. I have them under investigation.
